Samsung Electronics Co. is using artificial intelligence (AI) to make its home appliances more efficient.

Samsung Electronics announced on Wednesday that it has launched a new double-door refrigerator that boasts advanced AI technology and better customization features.

The new refrigerator includes an AI-generated mode that uses its SmartThings app to predict and adjust energy consumption to users, potentially allowing them to save up to 15 percent in energy costs.
