Samsung Biologics, Bioepis partner with Yonsei University to nurture talent

Samsung Biologics Co. and Samsung Bioepis Co. have teamed up with Yonsei University to foster talent in the field of bio research and development (R&D).

The two companies signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the university on Wednesday on establishing a Bio Talent Development Track within the university’s College of Life Systems.

Under the agreement, Samsung Biologics and Samsung Bioepis will select outstanding seniors from the College of Life Systems and support them as graduate students, covering tuition and providing scholarships. These students will also be offered job opportunities upon graduation.

The signing ceremony took place at Yonsei University’s campus in Seodaemun District, northern Seoul, Attendees included Yonsei University Dean Song Jae-hwan, Vice Dean Yang Won-ho, Samsung Biologics People Center Head Lee Kyu-ho, and Samsung Bioepis HR Head Noh Sung-won.
