Hyundai Motor offers new model price cuts in U.S.

Hyundai Motor Co. is rolling out facelift models of its U.S. lineup, focusing on improving price competitiveness by lowering the starting prices of its hybrid models and adding more affordable trims.

According to Hyundai Motor‘s U.S. entity on Wednesday, the automaker launched the 2025 Sonata model on Tuesday, followed by the release of the new Elantra on Wednesday.

The 2025 Elantra features a price reduction for its hybrid variant, along with two additional trims. The starting price for the Elantra Hybrid has been reduced by $1,150 compared to last year’s model to begin at $28,225.

The 2025 Sonata lineup also includes a new, more affordable trim, the SE. Previously, the lowest-priced trim in the 2024 Sonata lineup was the SEL at $27,500, but the new 2025 SE trim starts at $26,650.
