HD Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering, a major Korean shipyard, said Wednesday it has secured a contract worth 197.3 billion won ($147.4 million) to build two liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) carriers for a shipper in Asia.

The two LPG ships will be built at the shipyard of HD Hyundai Mipo in Ulsan for delivery by May 2027, the company said in a regulatory filing.
