SK telecom Co. is set to undergo a significant update of its artificial intelligence (AI) service, A. (A dot), the telecom carrier said on Monday.

The update will focus on enhancing natural conversation experiences using large language models (LLM), improving daily life management functions, and offering a better user experience via specialized services like music, media, stock trading, and movie reservations.

To achieve these improvements, SK telecom overhauled the existing structure and introduced a new user experience that is designed to enable more flexible conversations with LLM-based agents.

“Customers can have more convenient and natural conversations with this update to A., as if they are communicating with a real personal assistant,” Vice President Kim Yong-hun said.
