Rapper Lee Young-ji will collaborate with Danish singer Christopher for a new song “Trouble” set for release in September.
The Danish singer announced the collaboration during his solo concert at Seoul Sports Complex Gymnasium on Monday after he invited the rapper onto the stage.
The rapper gladly accepted Christopher’s request for a collaboration, according to Warner Music Korea. Christopher had been in contact with Lee ever since the singer appeared on Lee’s YouTube channel in 2022.
Christopher debuted in 2012 with his first full-length album “Colours.” He later reached No. 1 in the Danish Hitlisten Top 40 album charts with his 2016 album “Closer.”
Lee found fame after she became the winner of the third season of the hip-hop audition program “Highschool Rapper” in 2019. She was the youngest winner and the first woman to grab the title in the series’ history. She reached No. 1 on the Melon Top 100 singles chart with her song “Small Girl” featuring D.O. of boy band EXO this year.
