Japanese pop duo Yoasobi will kick off its Asia tour with performances at Incheon Inspire Arena on Dec. 7 and 8, according to concert organizer Livet.
The concerts will mark the duo's first solo performance in Korea since last December when they performed at HwaJung Tiger Dome in Seongbuk District, central Seoul.
After Korea, the duo will go on to perform in Hong Kong on Dec. 26 and 27, Bangkok on Jan. 25 and 26, Taipei on Feb. 8 and 9, Singapore on Feb. 22 and 23 and Jakarta on Feb. 26 and 27.
Tickets for the performance in Korea will be available online at Melon Ticket and Ticketlink on Sept. 6 at 8 p.m.
Yoasobi debuted in Japan in 2019 and it consists of vocalist Ikura and producer Ayase. The duo gained widespread popularity in Japan with their debut track, "Into The Night" (2019) and its first EP, "The Book," released in 2021.
The duo rose to global fame in 2023 with the opening theme “Idol” for the Japanese animation “Oshi No Ko.” The song and its associated challenges went viral on TikTok in both Japan and Korea, with multiple K-pop artists participating in the "My Favorite Idol" challenge, further boosting the track's popularity.
