QWER is releasing new music in September, the girl group rock band’s agency Tamago Production said Friday.
“QWER is preparing to return within September,” said Tamago Production. “We intend to fully live up to the love the four members received with high-quality music and stages. ”
The new music comes in five months since the release of the rock band’s first EP “Manito” in April. Lead track “T.B.H” from the EP reached No. 3 on the Melon Top 100 singles chart upon release. “T.B.H” is No. 9 on the same chart as of Friday evening.
More information on the new music will be revealed at a later date.
The four-member rock band, consisting of Chodan, Magenta, Hina and Siyeon, debuted on Oct. 18, 2023, with its first single, “Harmony from Discord.” The band also performed at this year’s Pentaport Rock Festival, one of Korea’s largest rock music festivals, held in Incheon on Aug. 2.
QWER also collaborated with the popular online game League of Legends (LoL) for the song “Anima Power” in July, for the game’s “Anima Squad” summer event.
