BTS member Jungkook’s 2023 song “Seven” has spent 400 days on the Global Spotify Top Songs Chart, according to the World Music Awards.
“Seven” was the singer’s first solo digital single and topped the Spotify chart for 71 days, a first for an Asian artist.
Jungkook has been listed in the Guinness World Records four times for his achievements on Spotify. He holds the record for the highest weekly streams of 89 million for a male artist’s track on the Spotify Global Charts and achieved 100 million and 1 billion streams in record time. He is also the fastest K-pop solo artist to surpass 1 billion streams on Spotify.
The song also topped the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart upon its release in July 2023.
“Seven” is one of the 11 tracks on Jungkook’s first solo album, “Golden,” released in November last year. The album features “3D (feat. Jack Harlow)” and the lead track “Standing Next to You.” The BTS member sold more than 2 million copies of the album on the first day of its release, the highest ever for a K-pop soloist.
Jungkook will release his documentary film, “Jung Kook: I Am Still,” worldwide on Sept. 18. The documentary will detail the singer’s solo music career.
