The Korea JoongAng Daily will participate in the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (Kotra)'s Global Talent Fair to promote K-campus, a service that helps foreigners adapt to student life in Korea.
The Korea JoongAng Daily will set up a booth in the Job Fair for International Students section of the event, introducing career-related services offered by K-campus.
This year's Global Talent Fair will be held at Coex in Gangnam District, southern Seoul, on Aug. 27 and 28.
K-campus offers job listings specifically targeting foreign nationals in its Careers section, translating Korean job posts into English. Those interested in receiving notifications about positions that match their interests can sign up for the K-campus talent pool at the job fair.
Information about the upcoming d.camp internship will also be provided to booth visitors. Starting in late September, K-campus will collaborate with startup incubator d.camp, also known as the Banks Foundation for Young Entrepreneurs, to introduce internships for international students at startups incubated by the foundation.
For international students new to such events, K-campus will host a buddy walk program at the Global Talent Fair to explain how the job fair works and introduce participating companies. Those interested can sign up via the K-campus website.
The Global Talent Fair is an annual event hosted by Kotra, where companies looking to hire global talent — including international students, individuals seeking to work abroad and those aiming to work at foreign-invested companies — conduct on-site interviews and meet prospective employees. Special lectures and booths offering visa consultations and resume-writing advice will also be available.
