Japan sees record number of foreign visitors in July

According to data released by the JNTO (Japan National Tourism Organization) on 21 August 2024, the number of foreign visitors to Japan in July 2024 was 3,292,500, which is an increase of 41.9 percent compared to the previous year, and a 10.1 percent rise compared to July 2019.
