CJ to provide CRM solution for LG U+ membership app

South Korean information technology services provider CJ OliveNetworks Co. announced on Wednesday that it will implement its marketing customer relationship management (CRM) solution, Braze, in mobile carrier LG Uplus Corp.‘s U+ membership app.

Braze enables customized marketing based on customer behavior data. It uses customer profiles and online behavior data to send personalized marketing messages across various messaging channels, such as in-app messages, push notifications, and Short Message Service (SMS).

LG Uplus plans to introduce the Braze solution to its U+ membership app starting in October 2024 to encourage customers to use its membership services. It plans to provide members with personalized communication service information and membership benefits, including recommendations for rate plans and additional services, partnership event announcements, and coupons, all based on member data.

CJ OliveNetworks, which operates CJ ONE, a lifestyle membership service with 30 million members, also expects to create synergy in activating LG Uplus’ membership app service.

“We will leverage our marketing solution services and CJ ONE operational expertise to ensure that LG Uplus members can experience the diverse benefits of the membership app,” CJ OliveNetworks head of digital marketing Ha Jae-young said.
