Preserving the tradition of Kashmiri copperware making in Srinagar

Influences of the Persian and Central Asian traditions can also be found in Kashmiri copperware. Refined over generations by skilled Kashmiri copperware artisans, this craft produces exquisite pieces that serve both decorative and practical functions. Kashmiri copperware is distinguished by detailed engravings and designs. Each item is engraved by hand, with maximum care taken in executing the flowering patterns, geometric designs, and other intricate work.
