Actors Ju Ji-hoon and Jung Yu-mi are set to star in tvN’s newest romance drama, “Love Your Enemy,” the cable channel said Monday.
The series marks Ju’s first romance drama in more than a decade since MBC’s “Princess Hours” in 2006.
It will also be Jung’s first drama series in four years, following her last appearance in Netflix’s original series “The School Nurse Files” (2020).
“Love Your Enemy” revolves around the romance between two characters who were born on the same day and share the same name. However, their families have been enemies for generations. Ju will portray Seok Ji-won, an executive director of a construction company and the new chairperson of a high school, while Jung will play his counterpart, Yoon Ji-won, a physical education teacher at the same high school.
The series will be directed by Park Joon-hwa, known for his work on several tvN hit series, including “What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim” (2018) and both parts of “Alchemy of Souls” (2022-23).
“Love Your Enemy” is scheduled to air on tvN later this year.
