CJ Group hosts Youth Taekwondo Championship in Vietnam

South Korea’s CJ Group announced on Sunday that it is hosting the 2024 CJ National Youth Taekwondo Championship until August 22 at the Tien Giang Multi-Sports Center in Vietnam.

This marks the fourth year of the event, which is the only national taekwondo competition in Vietnam sponsored by a foreign company.

CJ Group has been continuously supporting Vietnamese taekwondo for 12 years, starting in 2012.

The championship was first held in Lao Cai in 2019, followed by events in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi.

This year, the competition is being held in Tien Giang, with participation from over 1,100 athletes from 44 provinces across Vietnam.

The championship is part of the K-Sports Week promotion within the larger CJ K-Festa, a Vietnam K-culture festival that has been running for about three weeks since August 10.
