Dogs and pet owners are finding creative ways to beat brutal heat.
The Songpa District Office opened the Haha Hoho Water Park for dogs on Sunday, and it will remain open for pets and their owners until Monday.
Located in the Olympic Park in Songpa District, eastern Seoul, the water park was initially opened for children and their parents but closed on Saturday. It then reopened for dogs and their owners.
The pool operates with separate swim time slots for different sizes of dogs. Small and medium dogs can swim from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., while large dogs can enjoy the pool from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
A swimming competition was also held as a surprise event on Sunday.
