Typhoon Ampil approaches Japan, service stopped on Tokaido Shinkansen bullet train

Typhoon Ampil is approaching the Kanto-Tokyo area, and in response the Japan Meteorological Agency has issued heavy rain warning. The powerful typhoon forced the suspension of the JR Toaido Shinkansen bullet train service, operated by JR Central Japan Company, all day between Tokyo and Nagoya, central Japan.
