Rapper Beenzino is holding his first concert in seven years at the Theatre des Lumières in Gwangjin District, eastern Seoul, on Sept. 21 and 22, his agency Beasts and Natives Alike (BANA) said Wednesday.
The concerts are titled “Nowitzki Live.”
“Nowitzki” is also the title of Beenzino’s second full-length album, which was released in July last year. It won two awards at the 21st Korean Music Awards: Album of the Year and Best Rap & Hip Hop Album.
To celebrate the album's first anniversary and Album of the Year win, Beenzino released a special edition vinyl that sold out all 5,000 copies instantly.
It is also Theatre des Lumières’s first time to host a solo music concert. The media art exhibition venue is on the basement floor of the Walkerhill Hotel.
All seats are standing tickets and will go on sale at 2 p.m. on Monday on Interpark Ticket.
