RhinOS introduces AI cleaning robot ‘Wheelie’ to Korean market

Rhinos, a South Korean care robot specialist, announced on Tuesday that it will introduce the third-generation AI cleaning robot ‘Wheelie’ to the Korean market. The ‘Wheelie’ brand is an optimized version of the award-winning Chinese cleaning robot designed by YIJIAHE Technology, which received the Gold Award at the French Design Awards (FDA). The product has been adapted to meet the specific needs of Korean consumers.

Earlier, the FDA judging panel praised the robot for its ability to automatically recognize and switch between vacuuming and mopping modules, ensuring the cleanest floors. They highlighted its proprietary recognition technology and all-in-one base station as factors that enhance the system efficiency.

Unlike previous models that required manual tool changes, ‘Wheelie’ comes equipped with an integrated roller brush, roller mop, and squeegee, allowing the robot to select the appropriate cleaning tool based on the floor type using AI. It also features detachable clean and dirty water tanks and is designed to drain water through a hose, similar to a washing machine, accommodating various user environments.
