SSG.com membership gains popularity as a cost-effective subscription

SSG.com’s membership program is gaining attention as a cost-effective subscription service. The online retailer under Shinsegae Group plans to continue its 10,000 won annual fee promotion to attract more customers.

According to SSG.com on Sunday, the number of new subscribers to the “SSG Delivery Club” surged last week. From August 1 to 7, the grocery-focused membership “Shinsegae Universe SSG Delivery Club” saw a 30 percent increase in new members compared to the previous week. The “SSG Delivery Club” offers instant shopping credits that exceed the annual fee upon joining.

Additionally, members receive three free delivery coupons each month for both “SSG Delivery” and “Dawn Delivery,” along with three 8 percent discount coupons for their shopping cart. The service is designed to provide free delivery for smaller purchases and discounts for larger orders. Free delivery coupons can be used on orders over 14,900 won, while the discount coupons apply to purchases over 50,000 won.
