Korean diver Woo Ha-ram finished in a disappointing 11th place in the men’s 3-meter springboard on Thursday, falling well short of the podium at his third Olympics.

Woo finished with 374.15, falling well short of the 543.60 of gold medalist Xie Siyi of China.

Wang Zongyuan of China took silver with 530.20, with Osmar Olvera Ibarra of Mexico claiming the bronze with 500.40.

Thursday’s result was a disappointment for Woo, who recorded the best finish by a Korean diver ever with fourth place at Tokyo 2020. His performance in Paris falls more than 100 points short of Tokyo.

Woo was the final Korean springboard diver to compete in Paris. Yi Jae-gyeong failed to advance out of the men’s 3-meter preliminaries on Tuesday, while Kim Su-ji narrowly missed out on a spot in the women’s 3-meter springboard final but remains on the reserve list.

Kim Yeong-taek and Shin Jung-whi are still set to compete in the men’s 10-meter platform, with the preliminaries starting Friday.
