Team Korea commemorative gold cards are displayed in a convenience store located in Songpa District, southern Seoul on Thursday.
Sold by the Korean Minting and Security Printing Corporation (Komsco), the commemorative gold cards each feature a photo of a Korean national team athlete with a gold medal around their neck. The gold medal on the cards is made out of 1 gram (0.03 ounces) of real gold.
Komsco said it will produce more batches of the gold cards following the high demand. The cards are priced at 220,000 won ($159).
