Some 250 current and prospective franchisees of Paris Baguette gathered in Las Vegas for the SPC bakery chain's 2024 Franchise Convention.
The event ran at Resorts World Las Vegas from Monday to Wednesday and drew attendees from across Canada and the United States.
“Paris Baguette’s successful integration into the U.S. market shows the dedication and efforts of our franchises, supported by Paris Baguette’s global franchise system,” Paris Baguette HQ CEO Hur Jin-soo said during the convention's opening keynote. “Paris Baguette remains committed to supporting franchisee success and aims to achieve further growth through mutual advances.”
Paris Baguette America CEO Darren Tipton also outlined the firm's vision for the U.S. market, including operational plans and strategies. Franchisee training programs were also held at the site.
Around 180 Paris Baguette stores are currently in operation across North America, 90 percent of which are franchised, and 4,000 globally. Paris Baguette directly operates nine stores in North America, spanning Manhattan, California, Florida, New Jersey and Ontario, Canada.
Twenty-two new franchises opened in the first half of 2024, according to Paris Baguette.
The company aims to have 1,000 Paris Baguette stores by 2030.
