Kreation Music Rights (KMR), a music publishing subsidiary fully owned by SM Entertainment, announced Thursday that it will partner with Howon University to foster talent in the music industry.

Howon University's K-Culture Entertainment Business Unit signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with KMR on July 17 to collaborate on nurturing music industry talent through joint projects.

KMR aims to discover talented students from Howon University and provide them with support, while the university will offer programs that give students hands-on experience in the music industry.

The two parties will also participate in various joint projects related to the global music industry and Korean culture.

"The MOU has helped lay the groundwork for our students to gain a competitive edge in the global music industry," said a spokesperson for Howon University. "We hope to explore new opportunities through this partnership with KMR and contribute to the development of K-culture."
