Paris Olympics day 12 — in pictures

The action continued on day 12 as Korea secured their first taekwondo gold since Rio and Quincy Hall snagged a last-gasp win in the men's 400 meters. Here are some of the best photos from the 12th day of action.

The action continued on day 12 as Korea secured their first taekwondo gold since Rio and Quincy Hall snagged a last-gasp win in the men's 400 meters. Out in the field, discus thrower Mykolas Alekna broke his dad's longstanding Olympic record, only to have Rojé Stona break it again for the gold medal, while Nina Kennedy won pole vaulting gold for Australia.
