Jin of boy band BTS will release his solo album in the latter half of the year, his agency BigHit Music said Wednesday.
The announcement came amid HYBE's quarterly earnings report released on Wednesday, presented by the company's new CEO Lee Jae-sang. The date of the album was not specified.
Jin finished his mandatory military duty in June and met with fans at a meet and greet just a day after being discharged.
Boy band Seventeen, also a HYBE band, will begin its world tour in October. Enhypen is set to hold encore concerts in Jakarta and Japan, and girl group Le Sserafim will release its fourth EP "Crazy" on Aug. 30. NewJeans is set to begin its world tour next year.
HYBE reported 640.5 billion won ($465 million) in revenue during the April-June period of 2024 and 1 trillion won during the first half of 2024.
