Hankook Tire to supply high-performance tires to Mercedes-AMG

South Korea’s Hankook Tire & Technology Co. has signed its first partnership with Mercedes-AMG, the high-performance division of Mercedes-Benz AG.

Under the partnership announced on Tuesday, Hankook Tire will supply Ventus S2 evo Z, its ultra-high performance sport tires, to Mercedes-Benz for the Mercedes-AMG GT Coupe model.

The Ventus S1 evo Z is a sport tire designed to perform in harsh conditions such as track driving. “This tire has enhanced performance with a wide tread design, specially designed tread patterns, and advanced aramid materials,” the company said.
