Samsung SDI hosts forum in Boston to recruit top talent

Samsung SDI Co. held a recruitment event in Boston on Saturday, local time, with an aim to hire exceptional talent with Master’s and Doctoral degrees.

According to the company on Sunday, the Tech & Career Forum was attended by key Samsung SDI executives, including CEO Choi Yoon-ho, Vice President and Head of Research Center Kim Yoon-chang, and Vice President and Head of People Team Ahn Jae-woo.

Over 90 individuals from major North American universities and research institutions participated.

Boston hosts Samsung SDI’s first U.S. research center, focusing on battery innovation and next-generation battery research and development.

During the event, CEO Choi invited participants to join Samsung SDI in pursuing its vision of a sustainable, eco-friendly future through advanced technology.

“The most important and necessary element to secure a competitive edge in technology is investment in talent,” said Choi.

He urged attendees to help “create Samsung SDI’s future as a global top-tier company by 2030.”

Samsung SDI will also host the Tech & Career Forum in South Korea in August and in Europe in October.
