Korea's Jang Kook-hee failed to make the women's skeet final, finishing the qualification round in 21st place at the Paris Olympics on Sunday.
Jang scored 115 points over five qualifying rounds at the Chateauroux Shooting Centre in Chateauroux, France, falling well behind frontrunners from the United States, Great Britain and Greece — who tied for first after five rounds with 122 points.
In women's skeet, the top six highest-placed athletes after the two-stage qualification round make the finals.
Jang, 24, is competing at her first Games. She still has a shot at a medal in Paris in the skeet mixed team event. Jang is set to compete in the qualification round alongside 23-year-old Kim Min-su, who finished 16th in men's skeet, on Monday.
Korea has won five shooting medals at this year's Games as of press time — three gold and two silver.
