Global job seekers invited to 2024 Display Job Fair in Seoul

The Korea Display Industry Association will host the 2024 Display Job Fair with display companies, opening the event to global talent this year.
This year's job fair will not only invite companies hiring Korean nationals, but also companies aiming to hire foreigners, a move to help display companies solve labor shortages and expand to countries abroad, according to the association on Friday.
The 2024 Display Job Fair will be held between Aug. 14 and 16 at COEX in Gangnam, southern Seoul.
A total of 25 companies, including Samsung Display, LG Display and Dongjin Semichem, will be attending, with the association expecting around 800 job seekers.
The Korea Display Industry Association will be working with the Hanoi University of Science and Technology and the Vietnamese Students' Association in Korea to invite Vietnamese students interested in working at Korean companies. The event will also be promoted to international students from 66 Korean universities.
A Global HR Seminar will also be held during the job fair, explaining government policies regarding hiring foreign talent to attending companies.
Job seekers who sign up via the association's website by Aug. 13 will be able to attend for free, while those who register after the deadline will have to pay 10,000 won ($7.30) for general entry tickets and 5,000 won for student tickets.
The Korea Display Industry Association aims to create more opportunities to match foreigners with jobs at display companies, creating a talent pool for foreigners and hosting similar career fairs in the future.
