NewJeans Breaks Spotify Records with 4.8 Billion Streams!

12 Songs with Over 100 Million Streams on Spotify

(MHNSports Reporter Sun Shin) NewJeans' hit songs "OMG" and "Attention" have set new records on Spotify.

According to Spotify today (1st), the title track "OMG" from NewJeans' (Minji, Hani, Danielle, Haerin, Hyein) first single album has been streamed 703,513,160 times as of the 30th of last month. This marks NewJeans' first single to achieve 700 million streams.

One of the triple title tracks from their debut album "New Jeans," "Attention," has been streamed 401,316,680 times as of today. "Attention" is NewJeans' fifth song to surpass 400 million streams.

Released in early January last year, "OMG" swept the top two spots on major domestic music charts along with "Ditto." Despite being only six months into their debut, NewJeans earned the honor of entering the US Billboard's main song chart, the 'Hot 100.' "OMG" was not only popular among the public but also received praise from industry insiders, being selected as one of the 'Best Songs of 2023' by notable foreign media such as Consequence and the Associated Press.

Their debut song "Attention," released in August 2022, also made waves both domestically and internationally, gaining immense popularity. "OMG" and "Attention" continue to chart in South Korea, Japan, and other countries, proving their formidable presence.

NewJeans boasts a total of 12 songs with over 100 million streams on Spotify. "OMG" has over 700 million streams, "Ditto" has over 600 million streams, "Super Shy" and "Hype Boy" each have over 500 million streams, "Attention" has over 400 million streams, "New Jeans," "ETA," and "Cookie" each have over 200 million streams, and "Hurt," "Cool With You," "ASAP," and "Get Up" each have over 100 million streams. The combined total streams of all NewJeans songs on Spotify nearly reach 4.8 billion.

Meanwhile, NewJeans' double single "How Sweet" and their Japanese debut single "Supernatural," despite being released two months and one month ago respectively, continue to maintain high rankings on domestic and international charts, showcasing their enduring strength.
