South Korea’s NHN Corp. unveiled a new corporate identity (CI) as it celebrated its anniversary on Thursday and announced that it would be applied across the entire group.

It is the first time NHN revamped its corporate CI since the group‘s launch in 2013. The company explained that the revamp aims to strengthen its corporate identity and reaffirm its commitment to sustainable growth and innovation as it prepares for the next decade.

The new CI design was created with the participation of Japanese graphic designer and curator Kenya Hara, who is well known for his work as an art director for Mujirushi Ryohin, or Muji. The design also embodies NHN’s direction moving forward, which involves creating infinite possibilities via multidimensional connections.

“Based on the philosophy of simplicity and clarity, we introduced achromatic colors that blend well with any color to express a solid foundation for everything,” the company explained.

Celebrating its 11th anniversary in 2024, NHN emphasized its commitment to realizing the group‘s vision of becoming a “global top-tier tech company” alongside the unveiling of the new CI. The company plans to expand its global competitiveness across all business sectors, including technology and commerce, with a particular focus on its gaming business, which has been the recent focus of its business capabilities.

It also intends to accelerate the reorganization of the entire group’s overall structure to enhance management efficiency as well as establish a foundation for sustainable growth by prioritizing stable revenue generation in each business sector.
