Twice member Tzuyu will make her solo debut, becoming the third member of the girl group to do so.
The title of her upcoming album, "abouTZU," is a combination of the words "about" and Tzuyu’s name, her agency JYP Entertainment said Monday.
More information on "abouTZU" will be revealed at a later date.
By going solo, Tzuyu follows her bandmates Nayeon, who released her EP "Im Nayeon" in June 2022, and Jihyo, who released her EP "ZONE" in August 2023.
Twice recently concluded its fifth and largest world tour, "Ready to Be," with a performance at Nissan Stadium in Kanagawa, Japan, over the weekend. The tour spanned 27 cities worldwide, drawing a total audience of approximately 1.5 million.
The girl group also performed during the halftime show of the “2024 Coupang Play Series” match between Team K League and Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur at the Seoul World Cup Stadium in Mapo District, western Seoul, on Wednesday.
