Jimin of BTS is set to release an English version of his song “Be Mine” on Friday at 1 p.m., BigHit Music said Thursday.
“Be Mine” is a song from Jimin’s second solo album “MUSE,” which was released last month.
The song is in an Afro-beat genre with lyrics about being true to one’s nature.
“Be Mine” comes after love songs such as "Rebirth (Intro)" and "Slow Dance (feat. Sofia Carson)" and changes the mood of the album.
“MUSE” reflects Jimin’s journey to finding inspiration in life. The seven songs on the album allude to stories of trying to find love or feeling lost.
The album was No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart. The lead track “Who” was No. 1 on Spotify’s Daily Top Songs Global chart for eight days straight from July 23 to 30.
