BigHit Music’s Welcome Onboarding Kit won the 2024 Red Dot Design Award’s Brand & Communication category award, the K-pop company said Tuesday.
Founded in 1955, the Red Dot Design Award is considered one of the three most prestigious design awards, alongside Germany’s iF Design Award, and the United States’ IDEA award. Judged by a jury of international experts, awards are presented based on their excellence, creativity and functionality in three award categories: Product Design, Design Concept and Brand & Communication.
BigHit Music’s Welcome Kit is "designed to infuse corporate brands with new employees and help them ease into the company," which was planned and designed by BX Lab, a department dedicated to brand development, according to BigHit Music.
BigHit Music is focused on working together to increase the branding of their companies and artists through BX Lab. It particularly strives to analyze the communication within one album and implement it in various ways. With efforts to supplement and expand their brand image, they are working to develop officially labeled products in stages.
The winners list for the 2024 Red Dot Design Award’s Brand & Communication category will be announced on Nov. 1 on the Red Dot Design Award's website.
