One Year of KISS OF LIFE: Achievements, Insights, and Future Aspirations

(MHNSports Reporter Sun Shin) KISS OF LIFE shared their reflections on their 1st debut anniversary.

On the 25th, Esquire magazine released the pictorial and interview with KISS OF LIFE (NATTY, Julie, Belle, and Haneul) for the August issue.

Regarding the new release, leader Julie said, "This time, we showcased a light and bright rap," and added, "I personally like Doja Cat, and it was great to work with a similar vibe this time."

Having taken on the leader role since her trainee days, she added, "I emphasize consideration and respect because each member has different charms," sharing her thoughts on what makes a good leader.

NATTY, who returned with a bob cut, talked about meeting local dancers while shooting the music video in Poland, saying, "We met some real hot girls," and explained, "I think a hot girl is someone who is always confident and self-assured. Anyone can be a hot girl."

Belle, who was in charge of writing and composing 'Te Quiero' released alongside 'Sticky,' has been active as a composer even before her debut. Despite her busy schedule, she maintains her interest in new songs with international artists.

Belle said, "We often talk about musical matters and the direction of the team. What we pursue is freedom. I hope each of our charms can always shine," she added.

Youngest member Haneul spoke about the music she wants to create in the future. "I'm very interested in band music. If given the chance, I would like to create band sound music with a warm melody line and beautiful lyrics," she said. When asked about the changes from a year ago, she replied, "I had vague anxieties before debut, but now they have disappeared."

KISS OF LIFE, who debuted on July 5th last year with their first mini album 'KISS OF LIFE,' made a comeback with 'Sticky' on July 1st, setting their own best record.

'Sticky' depicts a life that flows busily without rest, expressing a free, butterfly-like existence that doesn't set a specific destination and moves without anyone's interference.

Especially, KISS OF LIFE entered the TOP 10 of Melon Chart, a major domestic music chart, with 'Sticky,' and proved their growth by winning their first music show trophy since debut.

Meanwhile, KISS OF LIFE's pictorial can be found in the August issue of 'Esquire,' with additional B-cuts to be released on SNS on the 26th.
