'Cupid' FIFTY FIFTY's Exciting Return with Fresh Faces

(MHNSports Reporter Sun Shin) FIFTY FIFTY, who previously announced their reorganization into a five-member group, has heightened anticipation for their comeback with the release of teaser content.

At midnight on the 24th, FIFTY FIFTY released a teaser video featuring Kina and the silhouettes of the new members on their official YouTube channel.

Unlike the previous photo where only the number of members could be inferred from their backs, this time, a silhouette teaser video was revealed.

The video starts with Kina's voice playfully calling out, "Hide well, I can see your hair," followed by joyful, bright laughter as the members play hide-and-seek and run freely. The video ends with four members hugging Kina, laughing together, raising expectations for what the group will show as a five-member ensemble.

Furthermore, the silhouette teaser video reveals the members' faces faintly through frosted glass, along with glimpses of their eyes and lips.

An ATTRAKT representative stated, "All the members are working together with one heart to present an even better image, putting their utmost effort into the final preparations for the album," and added, "Please look forward to the content that will be released sequentially."

FIFTY FIFTY, aiming for a new leap forward after their member reorganization, previously made headlines by entering the Billboard 'Hot 100' chart just four months after their debut.

Their first single, 'The Beginning: Cupid', saw its title track 'Cupid' charting at 94th, 85th, 60th, 50th, 41st, 19th, and 17th, showing a rising trend. 'Cupid', which gained popularity through word of mouth and appeared on domestic charts, became a "pick" by the international audience, achieving significant records such as the shortest time to enter the Billboard chart and the longest stay on the Billboard 'Hot 100' among K-pop girl groups.

However, since the end of June last year, the members of FIFTY FIFTY have filed for an injunction to suspend the validity of their exclusive contract with ATTRAKT, citing reasons such as 'violation of providing settlement data', 'forcing schedules despite health conditions', and 'lack of necessary support for entertainment activities'.

Additionally, the revelation that the Korean group name FIFTY FIFTY and the members' names were applied for trademark registration led to the group's image being tarnished as one that turned its back on its agency.

However, the court dismissed FIFTY FIFTY's application for an injunction to suspend the validity of their exclusive contract, noting that there was no settlement payment due to the members yet, that omitted settlement details were corrected within the period, and that members were given hospital treatment and schedules adjusted after health issues were confirmed.

Afterward, the members expressed their intention to appeal by independently opening SNS accounts, but Kina returned to ATTRAKT.

The news of FIFTY FIFTY's reorganization centered around Kina was announced in June. ATTRAKT conducted a private audition to find new members, and four new members joined, making it a five-member group including Kina, with a comeback scheduled for September.
