The Democratic Party wants to dole out 250,000 won per person again to help “improve people’s livelihoods" even after a large disaster relief went to the wrong hands during the pandemic.
It was found that a whopping 3.23 trillion won ($2.3 billion) in disaster relief went to the wrong hands during the Covid-19 pandemic, including under Yoon Suk Yeol’s presidency.
