Boy band GOT7 member BamBam cleared the air around an Instagram story he uploaded on Thursday, on which he said he wanted "to sleep and don’t wake up."
The story was screen captured and spread across online communities, with many fans expressing concern for the GOT7 member’s mental state.
BamBam took to Instagram once more the same day to explain his post.
"I’ll do my best on this year and will find my time to rest," said BamBam in an Instagram story. He said he sometimes gets "sensitive and emotional."
"[It’s] been a long run from last year [until] now and still [a] long way to go," said the GOT7 member. "It was a lot of pressure and stress and since my body [did] not really feel so well for a long time now."
"I’ll be okay," said the GOT7 member. "Sorry If I caused any worry. Have a good day."
BamBam debuted in 2014 as member of boy band GOT7. The singer made his solo debut under JYP Entertainment in 2021 with his first EP, "riBBon," followed by his second EP "B" in 2022 and "Sour & Sweet," his first full-length solo album in March 2023.
BamBam’s upcoming new EP "Bamesis" will drop on Aug. 8.
