Min Hee-jin never handed in any data, including her laptop, nor did she ever comply with HYBE's internal audit, the BTS agency said Wednesday evening in response to the ADOR CEO reporting five HYBE executives to the police earlier on the same day.
Min reported five higher-ups from HYBE to the Yongsan Police Station on Wednesday for defamation, disruption of business and leaking her private messages to the press.
Min's attorneys argued that Min had wiped out all data before handing in her laptop to HYBE, while HYBE said that she never handed in her laptop in the first place.
"The data, including her [KakaoTalk] chat with her shaman was sent by Min Hee-jin to an outside party through her work email at HYBE and it remains on our server," HYBE said in a press release.
"Min Hee-jin had agreed to our terms of privacy and we have already cleared this out at the court hearing. We report her for false accusation, using false facts to report us."
