Late singer Park Bo-ram’s cover song “As Time Goes By” (2010) will be rereleased as a track on her upcoming 10th anniversary album.
The posthumous album — consisting of remasters of the singer’s previous material — will drop on Aug. 7, her agency Xanadu Entertainment said Wednesday.
Originally by singer Choi Ho-seop, Park covered “As Time Goes By” on the 2010 second season of Mnet audition program “Superstar K.” Park rerecorded the song for her new album before she died of alcohol poisoning on April 11 at the age of 30.
Park’s colleagues and family wanted the song released, according to Xanadu Entertainment. Park’s fellow contestants on “Superstar K” will be featured on the new album.
The names of the features were not disclosed as of Wednesday.
“Proceeds from the album will be donated in Park’s name to marginalized people, including orphans and the elderly living alone,” said the agency.
Park was 17 when she competed in “Superstar K,” ultimately finishing as a Top 7 finalist. She made her debut in August 2014 with her single “Beautiful,” which charted on multiple rankings that year.
Throughout her career, the singer released two EPs, "Celepretty" (2015) and "Orange Moon" (2017), as well as numerous singles, including her most recent track, "I Miss You," released on April 3.
