The Improper Solicitation and Graft Act, known colloquially as the Kim Young-ran Act, is an anticorruption law enforced from 2016. It prohibits public servants, employees of media companies, schools and educational foundations from receiving improper solicitations and caps the maximum amount allowed to be given for gifts.
