(240716) -- KIGALI, July 16, 2024 (Xinhua) -- Rwanda National Electoral Commission (NEC) officials count votes following the closing of the polls during the 2024 Rwandan general elections at a polling station in Kigali, Rwanda, on July 15, 2024.

Rwanda's incumbent President Paul Kagame is leading by 99.15 percent of the vote in the presidential election on Monday, according to partial provisional results with a 79 percent vote count, the Rwanda National Electoral Commission said. (Xinhua/Wang Guansen)
