(MHNSports Reporter Sun Shin) Last January, the singer Tours achieved a double crown on the Circle Chart with "First Meeting Doesn't Go As Planned."

According to the Circle Chart's semi-annual chart released on the 12th, Tours' (Shin Yu, Do Hoon, Young Jae, Han Jin, Ji Hoon, Kyung Min) debut title track "First Meeting Doesn't Go As Planned" ranked first in both the digital and streaming categories. This made Tours a double crown winner in the 2024 Circle Chart semi-annual roundup.

"First Meeting Doesn't Go As Planned" drove its strong digital performance through a catchy chorus and key point choreography, sparking a wave of short-form challenges in the first half of the year. The song, which topped charts like Bugs and Apple Music upon release, has remained in the upper ranks of major music charts for over five months.

The song also garnered significant attention from major foreign media and critics. It ranked third on Billboard's recently announced "The 20 Best K-Pop Songs of 2024 (So Far): Critic's Picks." Additionally, the American TV station "FOX 13 Seattle" introduced Tours as a group with the song "Plot Twist," which has been covered by numerous artists in the global music industry.

Tours is a six-member boy group under Pledis Entertainment that debuted last January. They attracted attention even before debut as the "younger brother group of SEVENTEEN" and were selected as models for a carbonated drink brand.

Meanwhile, Tours made a comeback last month on the 24th with their second mini-album, "SUMMER BEAT!"
