Starbucks Korea will cut the prices of Americanos, lattes and caramel macchiatos by an average of 32 percent in celebration of the coffee chain's 25th anniversary in the country.
Titled “Coffee Hour 25,” the five-day event will see the company offer three popular drinks for the price at which they originally launched.
The event will last from Monday to Friday and the discount will be offered only on orders made between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. on-site.
Cafe Americanos will be sold at 3,000 won ($2.16), Cafe Lattes at 3,500 won and Caramel Macchiatos will be sold at 4,000 won.
A maximum of four drinks can be ordered at once.
“We will be introducing a variety of events until the end of August to continue the festive atmosphere [of Starbucks Korea’s 25th anniversary],” a company spokesperson said.
Starbucks Korea opened its first store in September 1997 in Seodaemun District, western Seoul.
