Kakaopay Securities adds 14 new funds to expand product lineup

South Korean financial company Kakaopay Securities Corp. announced Monday that it has added 14 new funds to its product lineup, totaling 28.

The latest offerings include seven bond-type funds with higher returns compared to deposits. Among them are a money market fund with instant deposit and withdrawal options, a global fund focused on high-yield bonds, a stable fund investing in domestic long-term bonds, a bond fund dedicated to U.S. Treasury bonds, and a growth-focused product targeting growing small and mid-cap stocks.

There are funds tailored for investing in global blue-chip companies and publicly traded stocks, catering to different preferences and investment experiences among investors.

Kakaopay Securities has the largest number of fund accounts in Korea, with 1.77 million accounts as of the end of May.
