Lee Soo-jin added, "We wanted to release a summer song, and since this is our first album with all members in their twenties, we put a lot of effort into preparing it, which might be why the gap was longer. We filled it with good songs and worked hard, so we hope you enjoy it."
Lee Jae-hee commented, "Over the past eight months, we had many discussions with the company about what songs to bring for our comeback that the public would like. We put a lot of effort into selecting the songs, which is why there was a gap. During this period, we worked hard on preparing the album and practicing individually, so Weeekly has grown a lot during these eight months. We hope you look forward to our activities."

(MHNSports Reporter Sun Shin) The members of Weeekly, who are now all in their twenties, are making a dedicated summer comeback, challenging the title of heat hunters.
On the afternoon of the 9th, a media showcase was held at Shinhan Card SOL Pay Square in Mapo-gu, Seoul to commemorate the release of Weeekly's (Lee Soo-jin, Monday, Park So-eun, Lee Jae-hee, Jihan, Zoa) mini 6th album 'Bliss.' Comedian Yoo Jae-pil hosted the event.
This comeback marks approximately eight months since the release of their mini 5th album 'ColoRise' in November last year and about six months since their digital single 'Stranger' released in January.
Jihan, whose birthday was just three days away, expressed her feelings about the comeback, saying, "It's been a while since our last comeback, and I'm very happy to be making a summer comeback. I love summer, which is also my birthday season, and I'm glad I can spend my favorite season with our fans."
Lee Soo-jin added, "We wanted to release a summer song, and since this is our first album with all members in their twenties, we put a lot of effort into preparing it, which might be why the gap was longer. We filled it with good songs and worked hard, so we hope you enjoy it."
Monday said, "We've always talked about releasing a summer song and aiming for the title of summer queens. We've worked hard to prepare, and we want to show you a great performance and give you a refreshing summer gift."
The mini 6th album 'Bliss' captures Weeekly's beautiful and shining moments of youth. It includes five songs depicting the summer of youths in their twenties: the title track 'LIGHTS ON,' 'Twenties,' 'Dance Dance Dance!,' 'Classic,' and 'Page (The Story That Reaches You).'
This album is also the first release after the youngest member, Zoa, born in 2005, became an adult, making all members in their twenties.
Zoa shared her thoughts, "Now that I'm twenty, all members are in their twenties. Becoming twenties, we seem to be more considerate and thoughtful of each other."
Jihan mentioned, "Weeekly previously sang about the hearts of teenage girls or the excitement after school that resonated with teens. Starting with this album, we tried to create various sympathies, including the passionate youth."
Notably, the fan song 'Page' gained significance with Park So-eun participating in songwriting for the first time since her debut.
Park So-eun said, "Because it's a fan song, it was very burdensome and challenging. I came up with the lyrics while watching cherry blossoms fall from the car window. It was a time where I felt many difficulties and shortcomings, but it was an honor to write the lyrics for Weeekly's song."
Weeekly's mini 3rd album 'We play' title track 'After School,' released in 2021, recently set a new personal best record.
Despite being released three years ago, 'After School' surpassed approximately 210 million cumulative plays on Spotify as of the 24th of last month, setting a new record.
Lee Soo-jin expressed their goal, "If 'After School' was about teenage stories, I hope 'LIGHTS ON,' which tells the story of our twenties, will also achieve good results."
Weeekly will meet global fans with a nine-city U.S. tour starting in Mexico City this September and ending in LA.
Regarding the U.S. tour, Park So-eun said, "It's our first tour, so we feel a lot of pressure, but we're working hard to show the stages that fans are looking forward to. Since it's our first tour, we hope you look forward to it and show much interest."
Lastly, Jihan said, "Through this activity, we want to earn the title of heat hunters. We'll blow away your heat and keep you cool," bringing laughter to the audience.
