Posco International completed construction of its liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal in Gwangyang, South Jeolla, where the Korean company has invested a total of 1.04 trillion won ($750 million) over the two decades since construction first began in 2002.
The terminal has six LNG tanks, which can store 930,000 kiloliters (246 million gallons) and a liquefied petroleum gas carrier with a capacity of 86,000 kiloliters.
Posco International is also building a second 930 billion won LNG terminal in Gwangyang, which is expected to be completed in 2026.
