A "Deadpool & Wolverine" pop-up store will open in southern Seoul at the Lotte World Mall in Songpa District and run from Wednesday to Aug. 7.
The pop-up store will feature approximately 120 types of products related to "Deadpool & Wolverine," according to animation creator company Daewon Media, organizer of the pop-up store.
The store will offer 31 special edition products themed around the film's characters, such as holographic posters, postcards, whiskey glasses and coasters.
Customers who bring tickets for the "Deadpool & Wolverine" film to the pop-up at the Lotte World Mall or the Marvel Collection Store at the Yongsan I'Park Mall in central Seoul will receive a 10 percent discount on all products.
“We have prepared a large number of special edition products that are being introduced for the first time in Korea at this pop-up store,” said a Daewon Media official. “We hope to offer an enjoyable experience for Marvel fans.”
“Deadpool & Wolverine,” set to premiere on July 24, is the third installment in the “Deadpool” films following “Deadpool” in 2016 and “Deadpool 2” in 2018. It is also the first “Deadpool” film to be released under Marvel Studios and its fictional universe, the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
"Deadpool & Wolverine" actors Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman visited Korea last Thursday and Friday to meet fans, alongside the film's director Shawn Levy.
