Actor Song Joong-ki and his wife Katy Louise Saunders will soon welcome a second child.

Actor Song Joong-ki and his wife Katy Louise Saunders will soon welcome a second child.

Song's agency HighZium Studio announced Monday that “Song’s wife is pregnant with the couple’s second child,” while adding that “It is hard to confirm the birth date and the sex of the child, as it is a private matter.”

Song and Saunders met in 2021 through an acquaintance and became a married couple in January after two years of dating. Saunders was already pregnant with their child at the time of the wedding and the couple welcomed their first child in June the same year.

Song is set to star in the upcoming film "Bogota: City of the Lost" directed by Kim Seong-je. The movie is a crime drama that tells the story of people who immigrated to Colombia in the 1990s. Song will play Guk-hee, who immigrated to Bogotá at an early age.
